Have you ever seen a “Down-Under Pot”?
I will post some pictures later of a begonia that we planted in ours last year. (See DIGITAL “DOODLING,” Down-Under Pot)
This year, we are trying vinca (periwinkles). After the plants take root, we turn the pot upside down and hang it from a shepherd’s hook out in a flower bed. I took a picture, just for the heck of it, while sitting on the back porch. You will see that this is just a plain old picture.
Then I stood up and took a picture from above. When I downloaded it from the camera to the computer, I realized that the sun – filtering through a big fern — made some interesting shadows on the floor of the porch. What a difference in the two pictures! Just thought I’d share.
