In August 2009 I posted some photos of the Mississippi River Bridges at Vicksburg, MS — the Interstate 20 bridge is on the left and the old railroad bridge is on the right.
The first photo below is from the series that I posted in August.
The other one was taken by a Vicksburg photographer, Marty Kittrell, on February 12, 2010, during the heavy snowstorm that occurred that day. Marty’s photos of the bridges and other sights around Vicksburg are absolutely stunning — and many, especially of the bridges, take on an other-worldly appearance!
Please go to his blog to see the rest of his incredible photos — and check back with it every once in a while for more updates. I’m sure you will find other pictures of interest.
I have his website listed under my “Other Favorite Places” – so you can easily access it anytime from my blog.
Take a look at these two photos for comparison — and then go visit his blog! There you will see a link to his website where you can view more of his photography and purchase high-resolution prints and downloads.
