Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, especially when we’re traveling.
When eating out for breakfast, I always order eggs if they are available.
When I was a little girl, we had a chicken house next to our large vegetable garden.
I would often accompany one of my parents or grandparents to gather the eggs.
The photo I am sharing is of my mother and her little brother and sister standing in front of their hen house.
Some of you may remember a previous post of my mother, all prim and proper,
with a huge bow in her hair and a very mature expression on her face.
I thought y’all would enjoy seeing that she had a “fun” side, too!
I love this picture of her smiling and holding one of the chickens.
